Motion Auto Show 2012 | Long Beach

This is the first time I’ve attended Motion Auto Show. I actually enjoyed it a lot. There were tons of cars, tons of beautiful models, and lots of vendors. Motion was held at the Long Beach Convention Center. After arriving, and receiving my media pass (which I thank Motion for providing!) I couldn’t spare a minute and had to go in. I was really surprised to so how big the complex was. And I was even more surprised to see how many cars were showing! There was a great variety of makes, models, styles, and all that. You name it they had it! Anyways, I want to thank Motion Auto Show for the pass, I also want to give a shout out to the friends I ran into and the new friends met at Motion including, Hollux Industries, Import Fashion, DaYUUM, JDM Sport, It’s JDM Yo! and those who I forgot to mention! Sorry haha. So I was supposed to go with a few of our photographers, and I was supposed to work on making a video. Although, something came up and our photographers couldn’t make it. SOOO lucky for you guys, I went and DID a video PLUS Photos! :D No I’m not Superman xD. But ANYWAYS JUST ENJOY :D

Coastin Society’s 818 Chapter Meet Part II

Here’s the second batch of pictures from Coastin Society’s meet in Porter Ranch last Thursday. The meet was a total success. Special thanks to CSUNAE for their support and planning as well! People who went to this meet knew the ethics of a car meet and almost showed no disrespect to the private owned lot. There were no revving or burnouts by people (except the cop). It was an awesome meet and I hope to see another one soon. Good Job 818!

Coastin Society’s 818 Chapter Meet!

It’s been awhile since Coastin Society has hosted a meet. Yet alone it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. So for this coverage, I bring you the In N Out 818 Chapter meet hosted by Coastin Society and Cal State Univ. Northridge Automotive Enthusiast (CSUNAE). This meet was held up in Porter Ranch, In N Out. Anyways, Coastin Society thought of making a meet for members and other people to get their minds off of the stress and daily troubles people have been having lately. With finals, and midterms and all those shenanigans going on, it was perfect timing to get away. Since it was hosted up in the SFV they decided to collaborate with CSUNAE. Enough history! We went out and it was a great meet! Lasted for a good while with tons of people attending. Permission was taken care of and at first the PD was fine with it. After some idiot decided to speed off with cops in the area, they decided to shut it down 30 mins before the planned end time. Other than that, it was definitely an enjoyable night and we hope to visit SFV some time around.

Enjoy this short video! Sorry I whipped out the camera a little to late. I got what I could, so this will be a short post. But we have a 2nd part coming up so stay tuned for that! Anyways Enjoy! :)

Car too low for alignment? Your Solution!

Hey Matt again with another post! I know I’m not the first one to run into the problem of going to a tire shop and them telling me my car is too low to align without risking damage to my undercarriage/exhaust. SOO, I  wanted share my knowledge about this local alignment shop I’ve been going to for a couple years now, to align all my “slammed” cars.
The shop is called Ram Tires on Sepulveda blvd. in Los Angeles 818 area. They are a very reputable shop with competitive prices and friendly associates.

I’ve brought plenty of cars here without ANY issues. This week I took a generously lowered 5th gen civic to get aligned after installing some coils and putting a new set of tires on.

The Graffiti Volvo pt.1

So as you may or may not know, our very own Cal Compton from Coastin Society is having a moving canvas thing going on with his Volvo. 2 artists have already painted on it and the latest one was by Ezra, an established LA street artist. We drove over to Hawaiin Gardens to get the paint done. The results were amazing.
